Transportation Services is dedicated to promoting safety for the University of Kentucky community. There are multiple services to help ensure that students and employees can get safely across campus and town.
One such program is Wildcab Vouchers. Wildcab Vouchers is a partnership with Uber that offers students discounted rides around campus and the high-demand surrounding areas. Learn more about Wildcab Vouchers here.
Another option is the On-Demand Shuttle that runs Monday through Friday from midnight until 5 a.m. This free, on-campus service is a great option for students or employees who are studying or getting off work late at night. Students and employees can call 221-RIDE (7433) to request a pick-up.
Campus buses also run well into the evening and are free! The campus Blue and White routes run from 6:45 a.m. until midnight Monday through Friday. The Green Route runs from 6:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and the new Purple Route will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., starting this fall. The weekend Yellow Route runs on Saturdays and Sundays from noon until midnight. (These routes do have reduced hours during academic breaks.)
