Transportation Services is dedicated to promoting safety for the University of Kentucky community. There are multiple services to help ensure that students and employees can get safely across campus and town.
Below are some of the options:
- Wildcab Vouchers: This service is a partnership with Uber that offers students discounted rides around campus and Fayette County. Learn more about Wildcab Vouchers here.
- On-Demand Shuttle: This shuttle runs Monday through Friday from midnight until 5 a.m. This is a great option for students and employees who are studying or getting off work late at night and need a ride to their vehicle after other bus routes have stopped service. On-Demand buses also provide targeted service starting at 10 p.m. for anyone needing a ride to the areas typically served by the Green Route (Green Route service ends at 10 p.m. weekdays). Call 221-RIDE (7433) to request a pick-up, at least 30 minutes before the ride is needed.
- Weekend Yellow Route: These buses operate on Saturdays and Sundays from noon until midnight and can be used by both students and employees.
- Employees who typically ride Orange Route buses can request that the drivers take them directly to their vehicle during late evening hours. Riders simply need to alert their driver as to where they have parked.
