Summer parking enforcement begins on Monday, May 13, and continues through Friday, August 9.
While parking options are generally more plentiful over the summer, campus parking lots and structures remain on control for permits. Some lots and structures require specific permit types 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so please pay attention to signage at the entrances.
Metered spaces and paid visitor lots also remain on control over the summer and require payment.
Please be aware that even when lots are not controlled for permits, they are still monitored for other parking violations including, but not limited to, parking in fire lanes, parking on yellow lines, and unauthorized parking in ADA-accessible areas.
UK Employee Parking Lots & Structures
All employee lots remain on regular control for permits over the summer.
Employees with any valid UK permit do have an additional option to park on the top two floors only of Hilltop Avenue Garage (PS #2) over the summer on levels 3 and 4. Levels one and two of Hilltop Avenue Garage will remain restricted to individuals with E2 or R2 permits.
Student Parking Lots & Structures
Students with summer permits are authorized to park in most student lots, as well as Cornerstone Garage (PS #5), the Scott Street area lots, and the Sports Center area lots. These permits are available at our office, located at 721 Press Avenue. (See this story for more details.)
The top two floors only of Hilltop Avenue Garage (PS #2) – levels 3 and 4 -- will also be open to students with summer permits. Levels one and two of the garage will remain restricted to individuals with E2 or R2 permits.
UK HealthCare Parking Structures
There are no changes to UK HealthCare policy which restricts employee parking in UK HealthCare patient/patient visitor parking lots and structures before 4 p.m. weekdays. After 4 p.m. weekdays and on weekends, these areas require an off-peak UKHC permit or other type of valid employee permit. Please see this page for more details.
Blue, White, and Green Route Bus Service
The weekday campus Blue, White and Green bus routes will operate from 6:45 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays beginning on Monday, May 6.
Yellow Route Bus Service
The campus Yellow Route is not in service over the summer.
Orange Route Campus Buses
There are no changes to Orange Route (UK HealthCare) bus service over the summer.
