Method of Award:
Permit upgrades will be offered based on several factors: seniority, work location and shift.
- Primary Consideration: Seniority (length of UK service), as defined by the University’s official regular service date. This is the same date used by the University to determine service awards and retirement eligibility.
- Additional Considerations: To reduce traffic congestion and pedestrian conflicts on Conn Terrace, South Limestone, and surrounding roadways, additional consideration will be given to employees who work on the west side of South Limestone and to those whose shifts begin and end during off-peak commuting periods.
- Waitlist: If more employees apply for this permit upgrade than spaces are available, this prioritization list will form the basis for a subsequent waitlist.
