Access to Cooper Drive Pedway to be Impacted

Repair work to the exterior stairway located on the southeast side of the Charles Barnhart Building is scheduled to begin as early as this afternoon. This project will impact access to the Cooper Drive Pedway.

Access to the pedway from the Orange Lot will remain available by entering the ground floor of the Barnhart Building and taking the elevator to the second floor. However, please be aware that the Barnhart Building closes at 6 p.m.

Pedestrians can also choose to use on the sidewalk along Limestone to gain access to the UK HealthCare campus or they can take the campus Orange Route buses. 

This repair project is expected to last for up to three weeks.
