Additional ADA Spaces Now Available

An additional seven ADA spaces (three van-accessible and four regular) are now available in the Press Avenue North Lot, located west of the Healthy Kentucky Research Building.



This lot now has a total of 15 ADA spaces (five van-accessible and 10 regular). With proximate accessible spaces being added closer to the research and clinical areas along South Limestone, UK Transportation Services is reducing the number of ADA spaces in the Press Avenue Garage from seven to two, to allow these underutilized spaces to be returned to the E-intermediate space inventory.

Two additional van-accessible ADA spaces were also added at the Orange Lot adjacent to the bus shelter to address increased demand for accessible spaces in this area. The Orange Lot now has 22 ADA spaces (four van-accessible and 18 regular).

Transportation Services regularly monitors campus ADA space availability and adds capacity where possible and where demand exists. These additions are the most recent example of our commitment to developing creative solutions to identified needs.
