Catch a Free Ride to Keeneland for College Scholarship Day
Keeneland College Scholarship Day is coming up on Friday, April 10, and students can catch a free ride to the track with Wildcab Vouchers!
UK Transportation Services, Keeneland, and Prevention, Outreach, and Wellness Education Resources (POWER), a unit of the University’s Office for Student Success, are collaborating to provide students with a one-time $15 voucher for free or discounted Uber rides.
Students who sign up for Wildcab Vouchers can claim this additional voucher for service between Keeneland and campus for use anytime from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on April 10. Students can also share the ride, ensuring free or discounted transportation to and from the event.
Any amount over $15, including the driver’s tip, is the student’s responsibility. Additional voucher terms and conditions may apply upon redemption.
Scholarships are Available
A total of $40,000 in scholarships will be given away to full-time college students during the race day. Drawings will be held throughout the afternoon for ten $2,000 scholarships provided by Keeneland and the Kentucky Thoroughbred Association and two $10,000 scholarships provided by Lane’s End Farm. How to Sign Up for Wildcab Vouchers
Signing up is easy! If you’ve already done so for the spring semester, please note that the Keeneland College Scholarship Day voucher must be claimed separately. The Keeneland Voucher will be available to add to your account by Monday, April 6. If you have any issues claiming the voucher, please email UK Transportation Services.
Wildcab Vouchers is managed by UK Transportation Services in partnership with the UK Student Government Association. It provides students with free or discounted Uber rides throughout Fayette County.
POWERis dedicated to promoting healthy student behaviors with targeted initiatives based on the dimensions of wellness.
