Do You Still Need to Purchase or Pick-up a Parking Permit?

UK Transportation Services is offering extended hours this month to make it easier to pick up or purchase your parking permit.



Regular office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. But our customer service center, located at 721 Press Avenue, will be open on weekends and offer extended evening hours during the week, for your convenience.



Special weekend hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. will be available this Saturday, August 8, as well as Saturday, August 15, and Sunday, August 16.

 

In addition, during the week before classes start, the customer service center will have extended weekday hours from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday, August 10, through Friday, August 14.

 

The extended hours are intended to assist UK students and employees who are unable to visit the office during regular business hours.

 

Please note that the health and safety of our customers and staff are our highest priority. As a result, we have instituted special office protocols during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. If you do need to walk-in, please enter the facility through the garage entrance, rather than the front door, to allow for physical distancing procedures. Signs are on-site to direct customers to the correct entry and exit doors.



In addition, customers are asked to wear protective masks and to maintain at least six feet distance between each other when waiting in line. If you are feeling unwell, please call our office at 859-257-5757 to arrange for later pick-up.

 

To minimize wait times and personal contact, a walk-up customer express pick-up window is available for those who have purchased their permits online or over the phone and need to pick them up in person.

 

Services such as parking permits, renewals and single day permits are available online during certain times of the year at www.uky.edu/transportation.
