Events to Impact Campus Parking & Traffic Starting Thursday

Several events on and near campus this week will impact traffic and parking as early as Thursday, June 1. Most of the parking impacts will be on south campus, however, traffic will be heavier than usual throughout the area.

 

Events include: 

• Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA) Softball State Tournament at John Cropp Stadium, Thursday, June 1, through Saturday, June 3.
• NCAA activities for baseball, Friday, June 2, through Monday, June 5, at Kentucky Proud Park.
• KHSAA Track & Field, Thursday, June 1, through Saturday, June 3, at UK’s Outdoor Track and Field Complex.
• Railbird Music Festival, Saturday, June 3, through Sunday, June 4, at Red Mile. 

Primary parking impacts should be in the following areas: Kroger Field Red, Blue, Orange, and Green lots; College Way East and West lots; Sports Center Drive lots; and Sports Center Garage. Press Avenue Garage and the Press and Leader avenue lots may also experience higher than usual demand for parking.
