Extended Office Hours are Available in August

UK Transportation Services will offer extended hours during August to assist students, staff and faculty in getting parking permits for the fall semester.

The UK Transportation Services’ Customer Service Center, located at 721 Press Avenue, will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the following Saturdays:  August 1, 8, and 15. The office will also be open on Sunday, August 16, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

 

During the week before classes start, the customer service center will have additional weekday hours, as well. It will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday, August 10, through Friday, August 14.

 

The extended hours are intended to assist UK students and employees who are unable to visit the office during regular business hours. Regular office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.

 

Please note that the health and safety of our customers and staff are our highest priority and therefore we have instituted special office protocols during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. If you do need to walk-in, please enter the facility through the garage entrance, rather than the front door, to allow for physical distancing procedures. Signs are on-site to direct customers to the correct entry and exit doors.



In addition, customers are asked to wear protective masks and to maintain at least six feet distance between each other when waiting in line. If you are feeling unwell, please call our office at 859-257-5757 to arrange for later pick-up.

 

To minimize wait times and personal contact, a walk-up customer express pick-up window is available for those who have purchased their permits online or over the phone and need to pick them up in person.
