Farm Road to Temporarily Close to Thru Traffic

Farm Road is scheduled to be closed to thru traffic beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, October 18, through Tuesday evening, October 19, to install an electrical and data duct bank across the roadway.

Employee and visitor parking areas adjacent to the Kentucky Tobacco Research and Development Center, the Orange Lot, the E.S. Goodbarn Visitor Lot, and the large Gluck Equine Center Lot will remain accessible from University Drive. The pedestrian crossing from the large Gluck Lot across Cooper Drive will also remain accessible.

 

The small Gluck Lot is currently closed, but is expected to reopen by Friday, October 29, weather permitting.

 

This work is being undertaken as part of the Cooper House Renovation Project.

 

Farm Road will be impacted again during the week of October 25 to repave the area. This work will also require a brief road closure.
