University-wide Navigation

The University of Kentucky Physician Assistants Program (UKPA) will hold a Healthcare Heroes Fun Run on campus this Saturday, November 13. The race will impact traffic along its route from 7 a.m. to noon.

In particular, those who park along Complex Drive (E7, R7 and C7 permit holders) should expect disruptions. Complex Drive will be closed to traffic during the race and parking availability on the street will be limited. Permit holders with E7, R7, and C7 permits should plan accordingly and consider parking elsewhere if they need access to their vehicle between 7 a.m. and noon on Saturday. Relocation is not necessary for vehicles parked on Complex Drive overnight on Friday, but please be aware that accessibility will be limited Saturday morning.

No other road closures or parking impacts are anticipated.

Runners will begin the race at Pieratt intramural fields and will be restricted primarily to sidewalks. However, runners and walkers will occasionally need to cross campus streets, so please exercise caution while driving along the race route

Yellow Route buses start their routes at noon on weekends, so race activities should not impact Yellow Route bus service.

The UK Police Department will provide traffic control during the event.
