July 4th Campus Parking and Bus Schedule Impacts

The upcoming Independence Day holiday on Thursday, July 4, will impact University of Kentucky campus parking and bus schedules.

Campus bus routes, including the Blue and White routes (Lextran 14), the Green Route, and the Orange Route (UK HealthCare) will not be in service on Thursday but will resume their regular summer schedules on Friday, July 5.

Many campus parking lots will also be off-control on Independence Day. With the reduced demand for parking, students and employees may take advantage of additional parking options that day. 

Please pay attention to signage at the entrances to lots and structures, as there are exceptions.

The University of Kentucky Transportation Services Customer Service Center will be closed on Thursday, July 4, but will reopen on Friday, July 5 from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
