Learn about Campus Biking Resources During K Week

New to campus and need some help getting around? University of Kentucky Transportation Services is helping students get acquainted with navigating the University of Kentucky on two wheels through several K Week events.

Saturday, Aug. 19: Getting Around Campus and Beyond



2 p.m. – 2:50 p.m., 110 White Hall Classroom Building



Learn about all the ways to get to and around campus and Lexington. Many students find that it’s just as quick, easy, and convenient to get around by using the alternative transportation resources that the university and city offer. You’ll also learn about parking basics and have a chance to ask questions about navigating your new home.

Monday, Aug. 21: Pedalpalooza



3 p.m. – 5 p.m., Pieratt Fields (Johnson Center Fields)



Up your bicycle style, comfort, and safety. Score swag, learn about riding on campus, and undertake skills challenges for a shot at an Apple Watch - all while enjoying bicycle-powered fruit slushies! 

Tuesday, Aug. 22: Wildcat Wheels Open House 



5 p.m. – 7 p.m., Wildcat Wheels Bicycle Library (first floor of Blazer Dining)



See all that the nationally-recognized Wildcat Wheels Bicycle Library has to offer - free bike checkout and repair and more! Make your own pedal-powered smoothie and enter to win a commuter bike package.
