NCAA Womens Basketball Game Impacts
The University of Kentucky women's basketball team was selected as a four seed in the 2025 NCAA Women's Basketball Championship. UK will host the first and second round games this week at Memorial Coliseum.
These games will bring additional visitors to campus and will have parking and traffic impacts starting on Wednesday, March 19, through Sunday, March 23.
Employees should anticipate increased traffic and parking demand in Cornerstone Garage (PS #5) starting on Wednesday and throughout the week.
In addition, the following areas will have spaces reserved in them:
Wednesday, March 19:
- E21 Lot: 29 employee spaces unavailable Wednesday through Sunday.
Thursday, March 20 - Sunday, March 23
- Linden Walk Lot: 124 spaces unavailable Wednesday through Sunday
- Memorial Coliseum Lot: 20 spaces unavailable
- College View Lot: 54 employee spaces unavailable throughout the week (R17 spaces in this area will not be affected)
- E21 Lot: 29 employee spaces unavailable Wednesday through Sunday.
- 21 metered spaces along Lexington Avenue, unavailable Wednesday through Sunday.
Impacted employees may park in other north campus areas, including King Alumni, Career Center, Schmidt, and Scott Street area lots.
