Railbird Festival Parking Available June 6 & 7!
The annual Railbird Festival is set for Saturday, June 6, through Sunday, June 7, at the Infield at Red Mile. This annual music festival showcases a diverse lineup of artists across multiple genres. Like last year, paid festival parking will be available in select lots and structures on UK’s campus.
Festival goers can pay to park in the following areas, all of which are located less than one mile from Red Mile. These parking areas will open at 10 a.m. both days of the festival. Please note that overnight parking is not authorized. Please see the map below for lot locations.
- Press Avenue North Lot
- Leader Avenue Lot
- Press Avenue South Lot
- Press Avenue Garage (PS #6)
Parking can be purchased:
- In advance for $50 per day (must be purchased prior to 11:45 p.m. for the next day)
- On-site for $75 per day
- Cash will not be accepted; forms of payment are Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, and Google Pay
- All sales are final.
ADA-accessible parking is available, but please be aware that shuttles from the garage and surface lots will not be provided. If more proximate parking is needed, please visit the Railbird site.
UK employees who typically park in these areas have many other parking options on weekends. E27 permit holders may park in the Gazette Avenue Lot (E26) on Saturday, June 6, and Sunday, June 7, if needed. In addition, UK HealthCare employees may park in UK HealthCare facilities on weekends, per UK HealthCare’s parking regulations. Event parking is prohibited in UK Healthcare parking facilities.
