Sidewalk Closure

Preliminary work for beam placement for the pedestrian bridge that will connect Chandler Hospital Pavilion A and the new Cancer and Advanced Ambulatory Building began earlier today, Monday, Oct. 26.

This construction work along the east side of South Limestone in front of Pavilion A necessitated the closure of the sidewalk earlier today. The sidewalk is expected to remain closed for up to two weeks, reopening on Friday, Nov. 6. However, please be aware that this work is weather dependent, so that date could change slightly.

Pedestrians traveling through this area are required to utilize the north-south sidewalk along the west side of South Limestone adjacent to the Cancer and Advanced Ambulatory Building construction.

Please note that northbound pedestrian paths on the east side of S. Limestone end at the entry to Ag North and the Chandler Emergency Department during this period.

Additional South Limestone northbound single lane closures are expected on Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 2-3 between 9 a.m and 3 p.m. to facilitate construction activites.
