Spring 2020 Interim Parking Modifications & Customer Service
In an effort to assist UK students and employees as they navigate far-reaching changes to their school and work routines, UK Transportation Services has prepared the following information to clarify campus parking control and office hours during this period.
Parking Control:
Please note that campus parking areas remain controlled for parking permits. However beginning today until further notice, campus parking permit control has transitioned to a modified summer break control plan. Hours of control during this period are 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, with the exception of employee reserved lots, Memorial Coliseum residential areas R17 and R18 and Seminary residential lots R29 and R30, which remain controlled for permits 24/7. Notable changes during this period involve the Rose Street Garage (PS #2) and the Sports Center Garage (PS #7). Portions of these garages will now be available for any valid UK permit, as follows:
- Rose Street Garage (PS2)
- Levels 1-2 are restricted to E2/R2 core permits
- Levels 3-5 are open to any valid UK permit, as space allows
- Sports Center Drive Garage (PS7)
- Levels 1-2 are restricted to E7/R7 core permits
- Level 3 is open to any valid UK permit, as space allows
- Visitor parking will not be accommodated in the Sports Center Garage
UK Transportation Services Customer Service Center
UK Transportation Services’ main office, located at 721 Press Avenue in the Press Avenue Garage (PS #6), will have reduced hours during this period: 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
While the office is closed to walk-ins, web-based and telephone service is available. Permit pick-up and drop-off service and other limited customer service is also being offered via our drive-thru window.
