Summer Permits Available for Purchase

Student summer parking permits are currently available for purchase by calling the UK Transportation Services’ customer service center at 859-257-5757.

The permits cost $9 per week and may be purchased for any number of weeks. Summer permits authorize students to park in most student lots over the summer, as well as the South Limestone Garage (PS #5), the Scott Street lots and the Sports Center Complex lots. Due to current COVID-19 precautions, the permits must be purchaed over the phone and picked up at the drive thru/walk-up window at the main Transportation Services’ office, located in the Press Avenue Garage (PS #6) at the corner of Press and Virginia avenues.

Please note that even when lots are not controlled for permits, they are still monitored for other parking violations to include, but not limited to, parking in fire lanes, parking on yellow lines, and unauthorized parking in ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) accessible areas.
