UK Transportation Services Winter Break Schedule

UK Transportation Services’ Customer Service Center will be closed over winter break, from Monday, December 26, through Monday, Jan. 2, 2023.

Many online services will remain available during this time, but emails to transportation-related listservs and telephone calls to the office will not be monitored during this time. The customer service center will reopen at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023.

Additional items of note:

• Pedestrians should be aware that the Charles E. Barnhart building will be closed throughout winter break for security purposes. Therefore, the pedway over Cooper Drive will be inaccessible beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, December 23, through Monday, Jan. 2, 2023. The normal schedule for the pedway will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 3. Employees who typically use the pedway can instead take the Orange Route buses (Dec. 27-30) or use the Cooper Drive underpass.
• Wildcat Wheels Bicycle Library will be closed over winter break. The shop will reopen at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023.
• Motorist assistance services remain available over winter break through UK’s contractor, Roberts Heavy Duty Towing & Recovery. Please see this page for details about this service, which provides free on-campus battery jumpstarts, among other things.
• Please continue to email UK Transportation Services with any non-emergency transportation-related questions. These emails will be answered as quickly as possible beginning on Tuesday, January 3.
