UKHC Employee Parking Details for Friday, June 18

Juneteenth will be observed as an official holiday by the University of Kentucky on Friday, June 18, and most University offices will be closed. However, UK HealthCare (UKHC) ambulatory clinics and other outpatient support areas will remain open.



With the reduced demand for parking on campus, UKHC employees may take advantage of additional parking options on Friday. Employees may consider parking in the Rose Street Garage (PS #2), the Sports Center Garage (PS #7), and in the Kroger Field Red Lot, all of which offer close proximity to the UKHC campus.



Traditional employee lots will also experience reduced demand, allowing UKHC employees to explore other proximate parking options in and around the UKHC campus.

 

The campus Orange Route will continue to operate on a normal schedule from 5:30 a.m. to midnight, but with a slightly reduced fleet.



With most UKHC services, including ambulatory clinics, still operating as normal, employee parking in the Kentucky Clinic Garage (PS #3) is prohibited. Employees are encouraged to park in normal permitted areas to ensure adequate parking remains available for patients and visitors.
