Upcoming Traffic & Pedestrian Impact on University Drive

Areas Impacted: University Drive

Contractors are scheduled to perform geotechnical drilling work along University Drive during the week of May 4-8. The primary impacted area will be southbound University Drive, adjacent to University Drive Garage (PS #1).

While much of this work will take place in the median between the north and southbound lanes, the left side of the southbound lane will be closed temporarily during drilling operations for safety purposes. The right side and parking areas will remain available.

Additional drilling will take place in grassy areas, with minimal disruption to traffic or pedestrians.

Individuals traveling in the vicinity should expect minor traffic-related impacts and exercise caution. Pedestrians should also anticipate some disruption in the vicinity, with isolated sidewalk closures. 

Campus bus routes may also experience minor delays while one side of southbound University Drive is closed.
