Vehicle Relocation for Saturday's Blue-White Football Game

Kentucky football will hold its Blue-White Spring Game at Kroger Field at 1 p.m. this Saturday, April 13. The game showcases the Wildcat’s spring practice. As a result, some parking permit holders will be required to relocate their vehicles to make way for an influx of Wildcat fans.

Students and employees who park in the periphery parking lots (RK, CK & EK) at Kroger Field (Red, Blue, & Orange) are asked to relocate their vehicles away from these areas before 7 a.m. on Saturday, April 13.

In addition, permit holders who park in the Kroger Field Green Lot (E10, C10 & R10) are asked to move their vehicles before 10 p.m. on Friday, April 12.

Vehicles may be moved to most relocation areas after 3:30 p.m. Friday and must be moved back to permitted parking areas before 5 a.m. on Monday, April 15.

Campus parking options increase considerably after 3:30 p.m. on Fridays through the weekends. The following lots and structures will be available for vehicle relocation purposes after 3:30 p.m. on Friday:

• Employee intermediate (E) lots
• Most employee core lots
• Cornerstone Garage (PS #5)
• Press Avenue Garage (PS #6)
• Hilltop Avenue Garage (PS #2)

Please pay attention to signage at the entrances to lots and structures to ensure that your vehicle is not moved into an area that is controlled for permits 24 hours a day, seven days a week. These areas include residential lots and structures and areas marked as reserved.

Students and employees who park in the University Drive Garage (PS #1), Hilltop Avenue Garage (PS #2), and Sports Center Drive Garage (PS #7), may also notice additional traffic in those structures before and during the game, but permit holders in these structures are not being asked to relocate their vehicles.

Likewise, University Drive will not be restricted during the Blue and White game, as it is during regular season football games.

Campus Bus Service
The weekend Yellow Route will operate as usual on game day. However, riders should anticipate possible delays due to increased traffic congestion in the area.

RV Parking Areas
The large Gluck Equine Center Lot and a portion of the Orange Lot will be available to UK Football recreational vehicle (RV) parking starting at 8 p.m. on the Friday before the game.
