Professional Students

First and Second Year Professional Students

First and second year professional students are eligible for a Professional Student Commuter C7 permit or a Professional Student Commuter Periphery (CK) permit.

• The Professional Student C7 permit authorizes parking in the Sports Center Drive Garage (PS #7) and parking along Complex Drive. Transportation Services manages the number of permits issued for PS #7 and Complex Drive core parking areas to ensure that C7 permit holders will be able to find parking within this area in most instances. The C7 permit also authorizes parking in the Kroger Field Blue Lot, College Way East and West lots and Commonwealth Drive lot. The C7 commuter core permit costs $63 per month and can be purchased for the time it is needed. Please be aware that supply is limited.
• The Professional Student Commuter Periphery (CK) permit authorizes parking in the Kroger Field Blue Lot,  Commonwealth Drive Lot, and College Way East and West lots. This permit costs $34 per month and can be purchased for the time it is needed.
• The Professional Student C29 permit authorizes students in the UK College of Law to park in the C29 Lot located behind Mandrell Hall. The C29 permit also authorizes parking in the Kroger Field Blue Lot, College Way East and West lots, and Commonwealth Drive Lot. Please be aware that supply is limited.

Third and Fourth Year Professional Students

Third and fourth year professional students are eligible for a Professional Student Employee Intermediate (E) permit, a Professional Student Commuter Core C7 permit or a Professional Student Employee Periphery (EK) permit. 

• The Professional Student E permit authorizes parking in a variety of garages and lots throughout campus, including the Orange Lot, University Drive Garage (PS #1) and University Drive parking. Additionally, the Professional Student E permit also grants access to the Kroger Field South Red lot and Blue Lot, as well as the College Way East and West and Commonwealth Drive lots. Additionally, the Professional Student EK permit also grants access to the Kroger Field Blue Lot, College Way East and West lots and Commonwealth Drive Lot. The EK permit costs $34 per month and can be purchased for the time it is needed.
• The Professional Student C29 permit authorizes students in the UK College of Law to park in the C29 Lot located behind Mandrell Hall.
