Braving the Storm: Campus Bus Service Details

In the event of severe winter weather, please be aware that there may be impacts to campus bus service.
 
In general, campus bus routes will continue to run even if the University is operating on a delay, early dismissal, or a delay turned to a closure. The Blue, White, Yellow, Green, and Orange routes will continue to run as conditions allow.
 
The Purple Route is not in service when classes are not in session or are cancelled due to adverse weather. However, Purple Route buses may continue to provide service temporarily to assist students in returning to their vehicles during early dismissals.
 
Please anticipate possible delays due to road conditions or traffic and know that service is contingent upon overall campus conditions. Updates to bus service will be provided through notifications in UK's bus tracking app, transitapp.com, or via X @UKParking. 
 
University-wide alerts will be communicated via UK Alert, the university’s emergency notification system, which is activated in times of university closings, delays, early dismissals due to weather, tornado warnings, and other major emergencies on campus that require immediate action.
