Events to Impact Parking on North Campus, Oct. 15-18
Several events planned for Oct. 15-18 will impact parking availability on campus. Please see below for dates and event details, affected lots and alternative parking suggestions.
Tuesday, Oct. 15: Singletary Center Lot on Patterson Drive
The second televised debate for the office of governor of Kentucky will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 15, in the Singletary Center for the Arts. As a result, 29 employee intermediate parking spaces in the Singletary Lot will be reserved for attendees.
Affected employees should consider other alternatives, including the Linden Walk area lots and the Sturgill and Schmidt lots, with entrances off Rose Lane.
Thursday, Oct. 17: Gatton Student Center Lot
The James W. Stuckert Career Center will hold a Graduate and Professional School Fair in the Gatton Student Center on Thursday, Oct. 17.
As a result, 70 spaces in the student center lot will be reserved for attendees. Those affected should consider parking in the South Limestone Garage (PS #5), located at the corner of South Limestone and Upper streets.
Friday, Oct. 18: Memorial Coliseum Lot
The CalCoaching Clinic will be held in the Joe Craft Center on Friday, Oct. 18, and Saturday, Oct. 19. Attendees will be able to watch UK Basketball Coach John Calipari and his staff conduct practice with the 2019-20 Wildcats.
As a result, 50 employee intermediate parking spaces in the Memorial Coliseum Lot will be reserved on Friday. Affected employees should consider other parking options, including the Linden Walk area lots and the South Limestone Garage (PS #5).
Friday, Oct. 18: Gatton Student Center Lot
Two events taking place in the Gatton Student Center on Friday, Oct. 18, will impact parking in the student center visitor lot. A total of 35 spaces will be reserved for the Ohio Valley Entomological Association and the Kentucky Arborists Association Tree Climbing Championship.
Those affected should consider other parking alternatives, including the South Limestone Garage (PS #5).
