Kroger Field Lots to be Impacted on Saturday

The Kentucky Music Educators Association (KMEA) State Marching Band Championship will be held on Saturday, October 30, at Kroger Field. Please anticipate heavy traffic in that area and plan accordingly.

Entrances to the Orange Lot (EK) will be closed after 4 p.m. on Friday, but exits will be maintained for any vehicles remaining in the lot. Beginning Saturday morning, the Orange Lot will be reserved for band practice and warm-up activities.



UK HealthCare employees who typically park in the Orange Lot on weekdays may park in other lots and structures near the healthcare campus over the weekend. Please see UKHC’s policy for additional details.

 

The Red, Blue, Green and Orange lots will be off control on Saturday for spectator parking and band warm-up activities. Vehicle relocation from the Red, Green, and Blue lots is not necessary. 

 

UK Police will be on-site to assist students and spectators with crossing University Drive from the Orange Lot to the stadium. 



The campus Yellow Route should experience minimal impacts and will continue to run its normal route.
