Portion of Cooper Drive to Close Temporarily

Contractors are scheduled to remove the pedestrian bridge over Cooper Drive early next week. This work will necessitate closure of a portion of Cooper Drive, from South Limestone to University Drive.

Work is scheduled to take place overnight to minimize the impact to motorists. Closure will begin at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, until  6 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30. However, please be aware that this work is weather dependent.

Motorists traveling southbound on South Limestone can detour to Cooper Drive by taking a left on Alumni Drive, then left on University toward Cooper Drive. Northbound motorists on South Limestone can turn right on Avenue of Champions to East High Street/Tates Creek Road, then right onto Cooper Drive.
