The Linden Walk employee intermediate lot will be unavailable to permit holders on Wednesday, August 20. It will be the site of a K-Week event called LexVegas. This lot will be closed late Tuesday evening to allow for set-up and will be unavailable all day on Wednesday. It consists of 124 employee intermediate parking spaces. Permit holders may park in other nearby areas including the King Alumni Lot, Career Center, Memorial Coliseum, and College View lots. Cornerstone Garage is also an option for E-intermediate permit holders.
Project: Campus Ruckus 2025Area Affected: Boone Center LotThe Boone Center employee-intermediate lot, located on Columbia Avenue, will be mostly unavailable to permit holders on Thursday, August 21. The only spaces available for parking will be five ADA-accessible and two reserved spaces. In all, 10 metered and 80 employee intermediate spaces will be impacted due to Campus Ruckus, which is taking place in nearby Alumni Commons.

The campus community will notice a change in traffic patterns in the vicinity of the UK HealthCare Hospital Garage, starting today. Below are details:
Area Affected: Memorial Coliseum LotProject: Repaving & RestripingDue to rainy conditions, which have delayed the painting process in the Memorial Coliseum Lot, it's possible that this lot may not reopen on Monday morning, August 11. Contractors are attempting to complete the work as quickly as possible, but this project is weather dependent.
Contractors are scheduled to install a communications duct bank on Washington Avenue this Saturday, August 9. This will require temporary closure of the roadway from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
Please be aware that this work is weather dependent. If the project cannot be completed by Saturday evening, they will continue the work on Sunday, August 10. If it cannot be completed this weekend, the contractors will install a steel plate over the work area to allow one lane of traffic to travel that roadway until the work can be completed.
Contractors are scheduled to seal and repaint the Columbia Avenue East Lot this weekend, which will require the lot to be closed on Saturday and Sunday, August 9-10.
This closure will impact approximately 142 employee intermediate parking spaces, plus six ADA-accessible spaces. In addition, seven parking spaces in the Columbia Avenue West Lot will be sealed and repainted at the same time.
The lots are expected to reopen on Monday, August 11. However, please be aware that this work is weather dependent.
Contractors are scheduled to remove the pedestrian bridge over Cooper Drive early next week. This work will necessitate closure of a portion of Cooper Drive, from South Limestone to University Drive.
Work is scheduled to take place overnight to minimize the impact to motorists. Closure will begin at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, until 6 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30. However, please be aware that this work is weather dependent.
Contractors are scheduled to remove a tree located in the center of the Ag Science Loop on Tuesday, July 29. This work will require closure of several parking spaces in that area. A travel lane will be maintained throughout the loop to allow access to reserved spaces. This work is expected to be completed in one day and impacted parking spaces should reopen on Wednesday, July 30. However, please be aware that this project is weather dependent.
Contractors are scheduled to mill, repave, and restripe the Memorial Coliseum Lot starting in early August. This will require a temporary lot closure. The Memorial Coliseum Lot has approximately 480 spaces, including employee intermediate, ADA-accessible, metered visitor spaces, and loading and service spaces. Employees should make plans to relocate their vehicles from this lot prior to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 1, in preparation for this work to start on Monday, August 4.
