Boone Center Lot to be Repaved

Contractors are scheduled to mill and repave the Boone Center Lot. As a result, it will be unavailable for permit holders starting this Thursday evening, July 3. This lot, which has 81 employee intermediate parking spaces, will be closed through Friday, July 11. Please note that this work is weather dependent. Permit holders may park in other nearby areas including:

Woodland Avenue Lot to be Repaved

Contractors are scheduled to mill and repave the Woodland Avenue Lot starting on Friday, June 27. This lot, which has 109 employee intermediate parking spaces, will be unavailable starting this Friday evening through Friday, July 4. Upcoming Traffic Impact on Sports Center & Complex Drives

Motorists should expect traffic impacts on Sports Center Drive and Complex Drive early Wednesday morning. Contractors will be pouring concrete for the Sports Center Drive Garage expansion project. A concrete truck will be staged temporarily in the roadway, between the garage and Complex Drive. Flaggers will be on-site to direct traffic. This work is expected to take place from 12:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. Wednesday. Please exercise caution while traveling in the area.

Good Samaritan Hospital Garage to Close Temporarily

Contractors are scheduled to begin routine preventative maintenance work in Good Samaritan Hospital Garage in early July. This work will require closure of most of the structure starting on Wednesday, July 2, through Sunday, July 6. This project is being done over the Independence Day holiday to minimize the impact to patients, patient visitors, and permit holders. While the garage is scheduled to reopen by 6 a.m. on Monday, July 7, please be aware that this work is weather dependent.

Impact to Columbia Avenue West Lot

Contractors are scheduled to mill and repave a section of the Columbia Avenue West Lot starting next week. A portion of the lot – approximately 90 spaces – will be unavailable beginning this Friday evening, June 20, through Friday, June 27. Holiday Update: Parking & Transit

Campus parking and bus schedules will change in observance of Juneteenth, Thursday, June 19. Juneteenth is an official University holiday.Campus Bus RoutesCampus bus routes, including the Blue and White routes (Lextran 14), the Green Route, and the Orange Route (UK HealthCare Route) will not be in service on Thursday, but will resume their regular summer schedules on Friday, June 20.

KHSAA Tennis Competitions to Impact Parking, Traffic

Kentucky High School Athletics Association (KHSAA) tennis competitions will take place on campus on Tuesday, June 3, and Wednesday, June 4. These matches will impact traffic and parking on south campus.The following lots will be available for event attendees:

Upcoming Impact to Huguelet Drive

Kentucky American Water Company is scheduled to replace a water line on Huguelet Drive starting as early as Monday, June 2. The roadway will be closed to thru traffic from Rose Street to University Drive from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly, for up to five weeks.  During the daytime, contractors will install steel plates on the roadway to allow traffic to proceed as usual. The sidewalk on the north side of Huguelet Drive will remain open and available.
