Memorial Coliseum Lot to be Repaved
Contractors are scheduled to mill, repave, and restripe the Memorial Coliseum Lot starting in early August. This will require a temporary lot closure.
The Memorial Coliseum Lot has approximately 480 spaces, including employee intermediate, ADA-accessible, metered visitor spaces, and loading and service spaces. Employees should make plans to relocate their vehicles from this lot prior to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 1, in preparation for this work to start on Monday, August 4.
This project is expected to take approximately one week to complete, with the lot reopening early on Monday, August 11. However, please be aware that this work is weather dependent.
Employee intermediate permit holders may park in other nearby areas during this time including:
- Cornerstone Garage (PS #5)
- College View Lot
- High Street Lot
- Schimidt Lot
- Career Center Lot
- King Alumni Lot
- Linden Walk Lot
- Scott Street lots
Employees should not need to scan their permit to enter Cornerstone Garage, provided their vehicle and license plate information is up-to-date in their customer account. However, if the gates don’t raise automatically, employees can simply scan the QR code on the back of their permit to raise the gates.
