Cold weather may still have a grip on Kentucky, but our thoughts are turning toward spring! Students, faculty, and staff can now register for spring break airport shuttle service.

Free rides to and from Kroger Field to Blue Grass Airport (LEX), Louisville International Airport (SDF) and Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) are available. This service is offered in partnership with the UK Student Transportation Council.

Shuttles will leave campus on Friday, March 8, at 7:30 am. and 1 p.m. Riders should plan to arrive at their departure airport at least two hours before take-off.

Return trips from the three airports to campus are scheduled for Sunday, March 17, at noon and 7 p.m.

Visit our website to sign up for a ride. Registration must be requested at least one day in advance.

For students who need assistance getting to Kroger Field, Transportation Services recommends using the on-campus Blue or White Route that runs every 7-10 minutes. Service for the Blue and White Routes begins at 6:45 a.m. weekdays.

Riders should leave their residence halls 30 minutes prior to their airport shuttle departure time to ensure they have plenty of travel time to catch the shuttle. Our airport shuttles depart from and return to gate six at Kroger Field.

Those returning to campus after the break will be able to catch the weekend Yellow Route from Kroger Field to the greater campus area. The Yellow Route will run from noon to midnight on Sunday, March 17.

If you book a seat on a shuttle and later discover that you need to cancel your reservation, please email UK Transportation Services or call us at 859-257-7202 so that your seat can be made available to someone else.
