Sports Center Garage is scheduled to close beginning at midnight on Saturday, Dec. 20, to allow contractors to work freely throughout the structure over winter break. The garage is expected to reopen early on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026.

Impacted permit holders (R7/C7/E7) are authorized to park in Hilltop Avenue Garage (PS #2) during this time. There’s no need to return or exchange your permit. Simply park in Hilltop Avenue Garage and display your permit as usual.

This temporary closure will enable contractors to complete electrical work inside the structure without concern about lighting, elevator access, and emergency power.

Sports Center Garage is undergoing a capital construction project that includes a 1,200-space expansion. Once completed, it will feature a one-level vertical expansion of the existing structure, and a five-level horizontal expansion to the west.
