Upcoming: Orange Route Bus Detour
Campus move-in is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 16, through Wednesday, Aug. 19. During peak move-in times, University Drive will transition to one-way traffic northbound.
As a result, Orange Route (UK HealthCare) buses will run a modified route during peak move-in times (Monday through Wednesday) to help get employees to and from their workplace more efficiently.
Details are below:
- Buses will run their regular route from 5 a.m. to approximately 8 a.m., which is prior to move-in.
- The modified route will begin at approximately 8 a.m. on Monday and run until 4:30 p.m. daily through Wednesday, Aug. 19.
- Buses will travel from the Orange Lot and Red Lot northbound on University Drive where they will service the hospital area bus stops.
- The buses will then return to the Orange Lot southbound through the service tunnel that runs under Cooper Drive, onto Farm Road and then onto University Drive.
- Orange Route buses will resume their regular route once University Drive reopens to two-way traffic, from approximately 4:30 p.m. to midnight daily.
