Upcoming Parking Impacts on North Campus
Several events planned for late this week and weekend will impact parking availability in some areas of north campus. Please see below for details:
- A University of Kentucky Board of Directors Committee meeting will take place on Friday, September 20, in the King Alumni Building and will impact employee parking availability in the King Alumni Lot. A total of 57 employee intermediate spaces will be reserved and unavailable until 3 p.m. Friday. Impacted employee intermediate permit holders may park in other nearby areas, including the Schmidt Lot and Linden Walk Lot.
- Twenty-four (24) employee spaces in the Career Center Lot will be unavailable Friday through Sunday, for UK’s Family Weekend events.
- A ribbon cutting ceremony for the College of Design’s Gray Design Building will take place from 4-6 p.m. Friday. Approximately 200 attendees are expected. Permit holders should anticipate parking impacts in the Reynolds Lot, which will be unavailable until 5 p.m. Friday.
