Upcoming Parking & Traffic Impacts
Three events happening this week will impact parking and traffic on campus. Please see below for details, impacts, and alternative parking suggestions.
- Thirty (30) employee periphery (EK) parking spaces in the Gluck Lot will be unavailable on Wednesday, July 29. These spaces will be reserved for a meeting of the Bluegrass AgTech Development Corporation. Impacted permit holders may park elsewhere in the Gluck Lot or in the Kroger Field Orange or North and South Red lots.
- The Basketball Tournament (TBT) Alumni Championship Game will take place at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, at Historic Memorial Coliseum. Permit holders should anticipate additional traffic on north campus, as well as additional parking demand in the following areas: College View Lot; Wildcat Coal Lodge; Memorial Coliseum Lot; Cornerstone Garage; Linden Walk Lot; Career Center Lot; King Alumni Lot; and High Street Lot. The lots will remain available for permit holders, but please anticipate increased demand.
- Forty (40) parking spaces in the Press Avenue North (E27) Lot will be reserved on Friday, July 31, for a Kentucky Pharmacy Residency Network meeting. Impacted E27 permit holders may park elsewhere in the Press Avenue North Lot or in the Leader Avenue Lot.
