Upcoming Traffic Impact: Huguelet Drive

Area Impacted: Portion of Huguelet Drive

Contractors are scheduled to remove one of the tower cranes being used on the Rankin Health Education Building project this weekend. This work will require closure of a portion of Huguelet Drive from Rose Street to University Drive.

The work could extend into Monday, May 18, depending upon weekend weather conditions.

This portion of Huguelet Drive will be closed from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and possibly from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday.

Parking along the roadway will be unavailable and barriers will be in place. Both lanes of traffic will be closed, although visitors parked in the Markey Cancer Center Visitor Lot will still be able to access and exit that area.

Motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists should exercise caution in the vicinity.
