Upcoming Traffic & Parking Impact: Hilltop Avenue

Area Impacted: Hilltop Avenue and Hilltop Avenue Garage

 

SEC Nation is scheduled to be on campus this weekend for the football game against the University of Alabama. Staging for the production will begin this Thursday, which will impact traffic on Hilltop Avenue.

 

Semi-trucks will begin dropping off materials as early as 5 am Thursday. The Hilltop Avenue westbound drive lane between the intersection of University Drive and the traffic circle leading to Hilltop Avenue Garage will be impacted; please expect slowdowns in the area. UK Police Department officers will be on site to direct traffic.

 

Parking for individuals involved in the production will be in Hilltop Avenue Garage. No significant parking impacts are expected during the daytime on Thursday and Friday. However, 100 spaces in the garage will be reserved for the crew on Saturday.
