Upcoming Traffic & Pedestrian Impact: Huguelet & University

Project: Michael D. Rankin Health Education Building (HEB)

Area Impacted: Intersection of Huguelet & University drives

 

Contractors are scheduled to begin work on Friday, Aug. 7, milling, resurfacing, and striping a portion of the intersection of Huguelet and University drives. The work will take place during the day, and one lane of traffic will be maintained. Flaggers will be on-site, but motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists should exercise caution in the area. 

 

The crosswalk on Huguelet Drive located at the corner of Donovan Hall and HEB will be temporarily unavailable during this time. However, pedestrians and cyclists will be able to access a temporary crosswalk in the vicinity.

 

This work is expected to take approximately one day, but please note that it’s weather dependent, so the timeline could change.
