University of Kentucky Transportation Services will host a T2 Reconnect Conference this Wednesday, March 13, at the Healthy Kentucky Research Building.

More than a dozen parking and transportation-related organizations from the region will be on-site to learn how UK Transportation Services is utilizing state-of-the-art parking technologies, and to take advantage of networking and educational opportunities.

UK’s parking infrastructure consists of eight parking structures and over 23,000 total parking spaces. The department has been a T2 customer since 1996 and utilizes the following T2 products and services:

  • T2 Flex Permit Management and Enforcement with Flexport and ROVR
  • T2 Mobile Enforcement with Mobile LPR
  • T2 Luke and Cosmo Pay Stations with MobilePay technology
  • T2 PARCS with Fixed LPR, FlexVal, and Pay on Phone technology

"UK is excited to be a host site this year," said Lance Broeking, director of UK Transportation Services. "We look forward to meeting our peers from sister parking agencies throughout the region."

Representatives from the following parking offices are expected to attend: Indiana University; Lexpark; the Richmond Police Department; Vanderbilt University; University of Florida; University of Tennessee Chattanooga; University of Louisville; University of Georgia; and the Lexington and the Fayette County Parking Association.
