Upcoming Parking & Traffic Impact: University Court

Project: Installation of Catch Basin & Paving
Area Impacted: University Court

Contractors will install a catch basin next week along University Court to alleviate drainage problems and occasional standing water in the area. This will be followed by milling and paving the roadway.

Much of the work will take place near Shawneetown Buildings A, C, and E.

Work is scheduled to start on Monday, June 22, and continue through Wednesday, June 24. However, this project is weather dependent, so the dates could change slightly.

One lane of traffic will be maintained, and parking spaces along the roadway should be unaffected. However, R19 permit holders may consider relocating their vehicles from spaces along this section of roadway into interior parking areas closer to the buildings.
