NCAA Track & Field Championships to Impact Traffic, Parking

Parking permit holders should anticipate additional traffic and parking demand near Complex Drive and the Track and Field Stadium as a result of the NCAA East First Round Track & Field Championships.Approximately 220 teams are expected to compete on campus this Wednesday through Saturday, May 22-25.Participants will primarily park in the C16 Track Lot and Shively Lot. However, Sports Center Drive employee intermediate (E) lots will also be available to participants.

Expect Traffic Impacts on Columbia Avenue

Work to replace gas lines along Columbia Avenue and Columbia Terrace is expected to begin as early as this week, weather permitting.

Summer Parking & Transit Information

Parking is generally more plentiful on campus in the summer, with additional options available for any valid UK permit.

Upcoming Sidewalk Closure on University Drive

The sidewalk on the west side of University Drive from the Medical Behavioral Science Building to Kelley Hall will be closed starting Monday, April 29.

Events to Impact Employee Parking on Thursday

Two events will impact employee parking on campus on Thursday, April 18.

South Campus Projects to Impact Traffic

Two projects will impact traffic on south campus starting this Friday, March 22. The first project will take place in the Kroger Field lot and involves the closure of a roadway that connects the Red Lot to the Green Lot, in the vicinity of Gate 4. This roadway will be closed to traffic Friday through Sunday.

Singletary Center Lot Impact this Friday & Saturday

The Singletary Center for the Arts parking lot will be unavailable on Friday, March 1, and Saturday, March 2, to accommodate two upcoming events.A total of 33 parking spaces will be impacted, including 27 employee intermediate spaces, one ADA space, three loading zone spaces, and two service area spaces. 

HireBlue Career Fairs to Impact Parking, Traffic on North Campus

The James W. Stuckert Career Center will hold two HireBlue Career Fairs in the Gatton Student Center this week, which will impact parking and traffic on north campus.
