The UK community responded in large numbers to this year’s Donations for Citations spring drive.
540 people made the decision to start spring with a clean slate, while benefitting UK’s Big Blue Pantry (BBP) at the same time.
At least 2,831 pounds of food and personal care items were donated during the two-week drive. In fact, so much was contributed that BBP was able to share some of the collected canned goods with other area food banks.
Two projects will impact traffic on south campus starting this Friday, March 22. The first project will take place in the Kroger Field lot and involves the closure of a roadway that connects the Red Lot to the Green Lot, in the vicinity of Gate 4. This roadway will be closed to traffic Friday through Sunday.
As the weather begins to warm, students increasingly turn to cycling and scooting as reliable, fun, and convenient ways to navigate campus.
